Cowboy Trio

The insanely popular Cowboy Inspired Trio!

The inspiration for this trio came from so many places. I started the design process looking into the history of this place and what its roots are. The Fort Worth Stockyards are a record of that past. Before DFW was a metroplex it was a cowboy town.

From there I was inspired by photographs of Cowboys on ranches set against vast, Texas sunsets. And the idea of riding off into the sunset.

To create this colorway I layered rich, jewel toned sunset colors with deep, velvety, Texas blue. Finally I added just a hint of a dark speckle to dirty it up and capture the grittiness of a ranch. 

From there I created two coordinating tonals that include layers of black to create the depth of the wide open Texas sky.  Wild Blue and Heaven above both take their names from lyrics from the same song!
